Applying for Funding

The Community Partnership Fund will support grassroots ICT-related initiatives. The Community Partnership Fund is about innovation - we want to see your ideas for:

  • building ICT skills and capability in regions and communities;
  • mapping communities’ ICT assets and identifying priority gaps;
  • strengthening community projects through the use of ICT;
  • addressing issues of confidence, such as safety and security, in using ICT;
  • Smart ways to digitise and link content and use technology applications across your community and New Zealand.

Applications for the Community Partnership Fund are following a two stage process.

  • Expressions of interest stage 2005 / 2006:  Applicants seeking funding were required to submit a preliminary application and outline supporting documents by 12 December 2005.  The purpose of this stage is to determine which Applicants were to be invited to submit a full application.
     
  • Comprehensive application stage 2005 / 2006:  Applicants successful at the EOI stage are being invited to submit a comprehensive application with detailed supporting documents.  The comprehensive applications will be assessed against the criteria and the level of funding (if any) will be determined at this stage.

2005 / 2006 Application Process

Expressions of Interest and applications for Community Partnership Fund funding must meet the eligibility criteria.  Expressions of Interest that do not meet the eligibility criteria will not be considered further.

Expressions of Interest that do meet the eligibility criteria will proceed and be ranked against the assessment criteria.  Expressions of Interest selected to proceed after this ranking process will then be invited to submit a full application containing detailed information about the initiative.
