A Community Partnership Funding application was successful for the development of "Top of the South Stories: Te Tau Ihu o te Waka a Maui". The stories will be available through a website portal and will focus on the history and culture of the Nelson-Marlborough region. Formal content will be provided and the community will be encouraged to add their stories to it.

Nelson Marlborough Inforegion

The Nelson Marlborough Inforegion (NMI) has proposed to expand fibre capability to the regions main population centres and to establish internet exchanges in Nelson and Blenheim to provide local and national interconnect to local high speed network users. Broadband Challenge funding has been awarded to create a network operating company to set up and run the internet exchanges and to create fibre links to connect Picton to Blenheim.
