Digital Ministers

Role of Digital Ministers

The Minister for Information Technology coordinates advice streams that are disseminated to the group of Digital Ministers. This advice includes input from the independent Advisory Group and Officials from the Steering Group.

Because the Digital Strategy is a whole of government programme, it often includes a large number of government portfolios that include some ICT component. As such a number of Ministers have taken a keen interest in the Digital Strategy and are working together to make it happen.

Who are Digital Ministers?

There is no formal group of Digital Ministers, however a number of portfolios are key areas of focus for the Digital Strategy.
